An equestrian journal for 2026. Riders can record their care and riding activity for one horse. Included pages are months-at-a-glance, goals & plans, basic info, farriery, bodywork, medical, and deworming, riding sheets for 205 rides. Each riding sheet prompts the rider to consider and record important aspects of riding such as location, warm-up, main riding, cool-down routine, mood before & after ride, and more. Also included are reference diagrams for pole bending, barrel patterns, dressage courts (Large and Small) and the dressage training scale. The paperback book is printed in color and is a perfect size (8.25″x6″) to carry from tack room to trailer. Lulu’s price is $18.79 US Dollars, including shipping.

I had a lot of fun designing this planner. I have used plain notebooks, planners, other riding journals, and mobile apps to record the various aspects of my riding and horse care. The printed formats were either too small, too big, or just not right. Mobile apps have crashed or become outdated and I have lost my information. This journal can fit in your go-bag while using and later sit on your bookcase as a reference. I welcome feedback on ways to make the 2027 journal even better.
Lulu Books is a print-on-demand printing company that will ship this journal directly to you- the buyer. I uploaded my design under my imprint Speedy Pony Press. I strived to keep this journal budget friendly while retaining quality and design aspects such as full color pages.
