Across the Fence follows Panther as she makes friends, overcomes unexpected loss, and weighs life-altering decisions, all while being socially underdeveloped. A glossary and references are included to provide readers, kids ages 9-12, a fun way of expanding their horse terminology. 

The upcoming Between the Ears series will continue to follow Panther as she embraces her identity, even when she is reminded that she is very different than other horses.
